Episode 066 – This Week on the Meg Rock Show, I was able to sit down with Ashley Spence. Ashley is a holistic health coach, yoga meditation instructor, activist, and national public speaker. She just recently graduated from the herbal medicine school at the Maryland University of Integrative Health. She combines all of her studies and mindfulness practices into her holistic health coaching and leadership. She’s got two beautiful children who inspire her to show up for herself, selflessly and live life on purpose. Ashley is a light, you guys. This is one of the most inspirational interviews yet.

When Ashley was in college, she was brutally raped repeatedly in the middle of the night by an attacker that she could not see.

This attacker was actually arrested and sent to prison for hundred-plus years. Since then, Ashley has moved to the beautiful state of Texas and she helped pass a law that said that for any felony arrest, the person has to have a DNA test. From the very first year of that law, they break 250 cold cases and gave peace to families that were looking for answers + closure.

You guys are going to love this episode. Ashley is proof that even the most horrific stories can be healed and gifts to humanity. ?
