Episode 065 – This week on the Meg Rock Show, I was able to sit down with actress, AnnaLynne McCord. AnnaLynne is not only an actress, but she’s a writer, a director, a producer, an activist + an ENERGY HEALER. She is known for playing the Vixen, darker nature roles. AnnaLynne first gained prominence in 2007 as the scheming Eden Lord on the FX television series, “Nip/Tuck”. Followed by credits on CW’s 90210, TNT’s Dallas, Stalker on CBS, FOX’s Jerry Bruckheimer produced pilot, Lucifer, POPTV’s Comedy, and so much more.
The reason I had AnnaLynne on my podcast is not only because she is all things film, but she is also a Reiki Practitioner.
Reiki (霊気, /ˈreɪki/) is a Japanese form of energy healing, which is a subset of alternative medicine. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a “universal energy” is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing.
She was raised in Georgia in a strict/ conservative, Christian home. We talk quite a bit about the Bible. AnnaLynne now as an adult sees God, Source, Creator, The Universe through the eyes of infinite love and she credits energy healing + spirituality of helping her heal from the traumas of her childhood. She has done so much energy work to heal her inner wounds (physical/ sexual/ emotional trauma), so that she can, in turn, heal others + the world! She is truly a gift to this world! LOVE her…. You will too!
