Episode #042 – In this episode, I sit down with Jeweliet Tangen. Jeweliet is a full time philanthropist with an organization called We Rescue Kids, which provides mental health care to children affected by sexual abuse. Jeweliet knows firsthand the trauma and the mental health care that the children affected by sexual abuse will need because she is a sexual abuse survivor herself.

Jeweliet was raised in a home for children that was actually a coverup for a sex industry business, which was sexually abusing children and torturing them. Jeweliet, thankfully was adopted out of the foster care system, taken out of that home and was raised by a wonderful woman who taught her the independence that she would need to become a successful entrepreneur and to navigate this life.

At 16, Jeweliet began her entrepreneurial journey and started her own business. By her early 20s, she was a millionaire.

The money was great and she loved that she had met these financial goals, but she also knew that she wanted to make an impact and leave a legacy of purpose when she was gone. That’s why she started We Rescue Kids.

When she’s not working on her organization, she’s probably mentoring other entrepreneurs on how to build a life of wealth and meaning. Enjoy!
